In order to better carry out the theme education for new students and investigate the progress of relevant work arrangements, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences conducted a survey and seminar for the Class of 2026 on June 6, 2023. Students shared their experiences and feelings about their study, life, and practice in their first academic year after admission to the university. They provided opinions and suggestions on aspects of the Faculty's Party building, ideological and political education, student affairs, teaching, and external communication. The relevant teachers answered their questions and doubts.

An Zhefeng, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Faculty, thanked the students for their opinions and suggestions and put forward four pieces of advice for the Faculty's teachers to improve their work. Firstly, earnestly implement the frontline rules and input necessary resources; secondly, make problem-oriented improvements in various tasks; thirdly, strengthen the exchange between each campus and create an atmosphere of mutual assistance; and fourthly, strengthen the organization of club activities and liven up the cultural atmosphere. He also gave four suggestions to students: firstly, firmly uphold positive ideals and beliefs and establish lofty ideals; secondly, arrange to learn independently and promote academic development; thirdly, cultivate interests and hobbies for a higher all-round quality; and fourthly, cherish the days in the university and care for each other.
