Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences takes moral education as the foundation of personnel training to understand the society and cultivate the humanities. Insisting on the principle of basing on Beijing, serving Beijing, caring for the country and facing the world, we have made outstanding achievements in talents training, scientific research, social services and cultural inheritance. The Faculty is rich in disciplines and complete in specialties. There are four specialties, i.e., Sociology, Social Work, Law and English, and the second bachelor's degree in Sociology, double minor degrees in Japanese and Law in individual class, and double minor degrees in Sociology, Social Work and English in regular class. By October 2022, there were more than 650 full-time undergraduates, 6 with second bachelor's degrees and more than 240 with double minor degrees. The Faculty actively provides high-quality educational and academic achievements for the growth of students and the development of the University.
