In the on-campus selection competition of Management Competition for Young Faculty Members of Beijing Universities and Colleges organized by the trade union, a team composed of Chen Chen (Deputy Secretary of CPC Committee of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences), Chai Jingjing (Director of Comprehensive Affairs Office of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences) and Wang Yajing (Personnel Officer of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences), carefully prepared before the competition, studied the presentation content and mode for the specified topic "Preparation for the 70th Anniversary of Beijing Universities and Colleges", and showed the overall design of the celebration activities and the implementation programs of various departments on the spot in the form of meetings and reports. In the competition, the judges were impressed deeply by the wonderful speeches, exquisite PPT and carefully designed schemes of the three faculty members. Finally, the team of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences scored highest and won the first prize of the campus competition.

Subsequently, under the guidance of BJUT, three faculty members, Chen Chen and Chai Jingjing from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and Yuan Xiaopeng from the Faculty of Architecture, Civil and Transportation Engineering, teamed up to participate in the 12th Basic Teaching Skills Competition for Young faculty Members of Beijing Universities and Colleges - Management Competition, and won the second prize in Group A. Basic Teaching Skills Competition for Young faculty Members of Beijing Universities and Colleges was founded in 1995, and Management Competition for Young Faculty Members of Beijing Universities and Colleges was held for the first time, which is intended to constantly explore and perfect the brand system of Basic Teaching Skills Competition for Young faculty Members of Beijing Universities and Colleges, assist the professional ability building of faculty and staff in different positions and sequences, and boost the growth of young faculty and staff in management positions. More than 50 university teams signed up for this competition.

The campus selection competition and Beijing competition of this Management Competition for Young Faculty Members fully demonstrated the solid writing skills, professional office software skills and good defense speech ability of the management staff of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences represented by three faculty members.
